It may need an adjustment to the Rx, a different brand of multifocal contacts, or you may be one of the individuals who find these lenses don't work for you.
They are a wonderful idea and an optical compromise, relying on getting two prescriptions into the pupil at the same time, different from the method found in *spectacle* varifocals.

Unless it's actually making driving dangerous keep your wearing time up so your eyes are well-settled to the lenses when you go to your aftercare appointment. That will eliminate one possibility for the blur.

the far away vision should be pretty good thru any glasses rx, barring certain eye conditions. so i'd say you might need an adjustment.

"Aftercare in 14 days"

...does than mean you've had the glasses for 14 days? if thats the case then you should be "used to them by now and any blur you have will likely require a lens change IMO.

but if you mean you are GOING to have a follow up appointment (and you JUST got your new progressives in the last say 2 days) then you may still be adjusting...

remember, the "distance" portion of a progressive/variable focus lens is at the TOP of the lens. so make sure you're not looking at things far away with your chin up...
