None.

You should not line the inside of the lash line, period. That area is a mucous membrane, not skin and contains many small glands that are part of the basic tear supply. If they get clogged by makeup you will have dry, irritated eyes and may get stys. That area is also part of your eye's defense against infection, by covering the glands you increase your risk of eye infection. Also, any make up on that area will end up as debris in your tears, causing irritation and possible infection to your eyes. You will also end up putting deposits on your contacts and will need to replace them more often.

Line the skin on the outside of the lash line, use mascara on the lashes but leave the inside area clear of any make up.

If you have sensitive eyes, then yes, Almay is a good brand - but as for the liner not smudging onto your lenses, i can't say! I have fairly sensitive eyes, wear contacts, and line the inner rims of my eyes, and i've found that Maybelline Great Wear and Loreal Contour Resist (which are both waterproof in case you also use eyedrops whilst wearing your contacts) last very well, and don't smudge off onto my lenses at all. I've tried many, many eyeliners, and these are definately the best.. Never tried an Almay eyeliner, though, so can't speak from experience.

You really shouldn't line the inside of your lids, but if you do, I recommend Almay products. They seem to cause the less irritation than other eye make up. I'm not sure about MAC products.
