i have just recently changed my glasses...the prescription is the same but i have a new frame and lens...the doctor told me that it is the same prescription but i seem to notice that the new glasses are clearer...i also got headache and my eye starts to redden after putting it on for some time...is this normal??if it is the same prescription then why do i get eye pain n headaches??the doctor says that i was used to wearing my old glasses(about 3 years) thats why i got the headache and eye pains....any advice??thanks

If the perscription is really the same as before, I don't see why your eyes would need to get used to them. Even if they didn't mess up the strength of the lenses, they might have messed up when they cut them to fit your frames. (The centers of the lenses need to line up with the centers of your eyes). You might want to take them back and have them checked.

Yeah you will have eye pain but thats good. Once you changed your glasses your eyes are going to set them self to see out of the new glasses. I have glasses and that always happens to me but It for the best

the same thing happened to me, my eyes would get red and watery, but i am not sure why it happened either.It did eventually get better, so hang in there.
