Since there won't be any dog in the class to blame it on; when you fart, immediately turn and give the person next to you a dirty look; like they did it. And make some comment like "Oh god, what did you eat" or "you're gassing us to death you cow!"
Note: they need to set up a catagory titled "Discusting body functions" so these types of questions have a proper home!

Drop a heavy object like a book on the floor at the same time you 'let go'.
I would be more worried about the smell!!!
