I have no idea what the deal is..I can see fine during the day in them, they are bit dry but nothing bad, but when it comes night or if I'm in a dark room..I can't see. It's like my vision just melts away and they become so blurry and fuzzy and I see halo's around everything.

I noticed this bc I was walking through my house in the dark and glanced at a digital clock and noticed the numbers were way fuzzy..so I turned on the light to test it out and within seconds I could see plain again..??

My contacts have never done this before..does anyone have any idea why? I have an appt. next week with the eye doctor again, but this is just really odd!

I had my eyes tested a year ago, and didnt need glasses, was told my eyesight was perfect. I went yesterday, as been having migraines so my doctor sent me to opticians, and was given a prescription of
Left -3.5, -0.75, 165
Right -2.25, -1.5, 120
How bad is it, when will i need to wear my glasses.
I really dont no how i went from having such good vision to needing glasses. Can i get away with just wearing them to drive. I dont want glasses.

I have intermittant strabismus where the eye I'm not using with turn inward.. so it gives me a cross-eyed appearence that is very noticable. I've had this my whole life so I'm kind of over it now. Yet, people are always surprised that I'm so out going and friendly and fun.

Like some people have actually told me they would be shy and self-conscious if they were in my situation. Why? Would you be embarrassed to have a bad leg or an arm in a cast?

Why do people think like this?

My right eye is kind of blurry but my left eye (from my point of view) is much better. Is this a problem of my eye or is it just a lazy eye?

Im rubbish with bone physiology and all of that. Could someone who is in the know tell me if its possible for 23 year old girls bone structure to shift to make one eye slightly lower than the other
Its just Ive noticed one of mine is and now it leaps out at me like some sort of quasi modo thing everytime i look in the mirror haha.

I swear it wasnt like that before.
Is this ridiculous and its just that now I notice it it looks really obvious??? or could there really be some physiological explanation?

I just got contacts on Monday. I have been trying to get used to them and in the first two days, thought what I was seeing was just my eyes adjusting, but I don't think it is. My left eye and contact seem okay. It is a toric lens. My right eye, which actually has better unaided vision than the left is giving me problems. The right eye has slight astigmatism, apparently that cannot be corrected with soft contact lenses and so it is just a +.50 Rx. And I have noticed some "ghosting," especially with things produced by light (computer monitors, headlights, tv screens). If I cover the left eye, it goes away, so I know it's the right eye. I just can't help but think my vision is actually WORSE with the right contact in!!

What can I do?

Is there a contact lens made for "slight" astigmatism?

(I have my follow up appointment on Tuesday, so there's no point in going in early. I'm just looking for some input so I can have an intelligent conversation with my doctor.)
