Do you mean your vision with or without the contacts?

It isn't possible to convert your contact lens prescription to either kind of vision, you will have to ask your doctor. You can estimate that your vision without glasses would be much worse than 20/400 (big E on the chart), likely in the 20/600 to 20/1000 range.

Your doctor should know what your vision is when you are wearing your glasses or contacts but may not know what your vision without them is. Don't think he hasn't done his job if he doesn't know your vision without glasses, this is not a standard thing to measure and, in your case, it would be difficult to measure without special charts that have letters beyond 20/400

You'd be way over 20/200--in other words, if you couldn't correctr your vision with glasses and still had this prescription, you would be legally blind. I cannot give you an exact number because the number of diopters in the prescription (like -7.00) don't perfectly line up with your 20/__ number. By the way, you would like to have 20/20 or better (like 20/15 or 20/10)--20/20 is the standard for acceptable vision.

With that kidn of prescription, you might even be near 20/600 or 20/800--well, I hope not.

You can't convert your diopters to a 20/20 type number. It doesn't work like that. You need to stand in front of a Snellen eye chart, and figure out which line you can read. Then, look at the number next to the line. It'll tell you what your 20/20 "vision" is.
