Hello I am 22 years old I am living right now in Boston, MA I have advanced Keratoconus and yes I am already legally blind..and yes I can write by the computer and I can read since this disease I have it from my 4 years old and or have my own method to be able to see a little bit... I write this to know if there's any doctor in the area or someone who knows of about a place, commission or research that can help me at least to try to see something My Dr. has tried to put to me toric lenses but none of them fit me, I already know that i need a cornea surgery but the Dr. dont want to do it for me because he says that im too young for that... I am looking for this because im too desperate and the anguish to be like this.. I hope that somebody has a good heart and it helps me, since I have a 11 months baby and been dreaming to see his little face in the first time in my life soon
Thanks
Kiumy...

I work for an Optometrist in Waterville, Maine and I know that we refer many people to doctors in the Portland area. I would try researching some doctors down there, I'm sure someone would be willing to help you. It wouldn't be too bad of a drive for you either, maybe 2 hours at max. Good luck to you!
