My legs are suddenly aching which is weird since all I am doing is just sitting down and typing on the keyboard. I am a natural fast walker and my legs do not ache when I walk.

I've been diagnosed with degeneratgive disc and other similar spinal problems. Will the insurance provider at my new employer cover me and if so how do pre existing conditions relate to it? Also, I see a pain management Dr. every other month and he prescribes Lortab for my pain management. Will this be considered treatment for my condition and if so would I have to stop seeing him and taking the meds to qualify for the insurance? I'm not sure I can manage to work with this much pain unless I do take the RX. LOL,,It's always something. I've been trying for almost a year to get Indiana Medicaide so I can have the spinal fusion surgery done but I've had to give up on that and take work in order to survive financially. Any information will be very appreciated. Thanks!

The bottom of my feet, mostly right foot, front half where the toes are. They don't burn consistently, like when I'm sitting down or whatever it doesnt burn. But when I walk around bare footed it feels like this slight pain on my feet, kinda like a pins and needles/burning type of pain. I must say it does feel like athletes foot since I've had that before and it feels almost the same, but I'm also scared it could be diabetes. I'm gonna see my doctor next tuesday.

In the meantime, anyone know what this could be? Or what exactly I should tell my doctor to check? I don't want him to assume it's just atheletes foot or anything and make me get over the counter medicine and come back if it persists. Id like to rule out anything serious. So what should I say?

And if it turns out to be athletes foot, then good.

I woke up this morning, and my elbows, knees, and feet were very sore. It's night time now, and the pain has spread through my thighs and my arms, and I'm really sore.
I haven't done any excercises at all, and I don't know what could be causing this sudden pain.

Anyone know?

For the past 5-6 weeks, I have had back pain. I started running about 8 weeks ago, and this started to occur thereafter. The dull ache is usually concentrated along the area beside the spinal cord between the shoulder blades and in the very lower back. I have had no other symptoms; i.e. no urine change, no leg problems, no fever, etc, just a dull ache that comes and goes. It usually hurts when I sit. When I do something physical, like run or walk, it doesn't hurt. It also doesn't hurt when I lay down, so it doesn't keep me up at night or anything. I really haven't tried doing anything except take some OTC inflammatory drugs. I am 24 M and in good health. I started excersing intensely after 3 years of doing nothing. What should I do to make the dull ache go away? Is it muscular, skeletal, the kidneys, or something else? Should I go see a doctor? Thanks.

I had tests done a few weeks ago and found nothing abnormal. (blood, urine and ct scan without contrast) The pain is in my right rib area but travels into my upper back/shoulder area and tends to be worse at night. I was on vicodin but it kept making me sick so I try to avoid it but tylenol or prescription muscle relaxants don't help. I feel like I am being a bother at the doctors office but don't want this to become something serious.
I have had a bad kidney infection in the past that was horrific and initially went to urgent care suspecting that it was the same problem. They said it is not and were convinced it would go away. Should I just keep waiting and it will go away?

FYI: RX from dentsit, but I'd rather deal with the pain.

What are the repercussions of taking vicodin long-term? I am currently taking 10/500 and my doctor said he's going to scale down my next dose so that it has less tylenol in it. Will it still work as well if it has less tylenol? Isn't it mostly the narcotic element that is giving me the pain relief? And again, what problems will arise from taking vicodin long-term? Thanks!

hey guys, i woke up yesterday morning, and my left thigh was swollen, and there's this HUGE (although light) bruise that covers about.. i'd say 1/3 of my thigh.
it's stiff, it hurts, and it's somewhat a numbing feeling, and it's really painful when i climb the stairs or go down the stairs.

i have no idea what this could be, any ideas?

I have to take more than four tylenol just to help, not stop, a migraine. I cant stand that. I wish there was somthing I could just take to relieve the pain. Ive been on two different migraine preventatives and neither help. One was immetrex and i cant remeber the other. The only thing that honestly helps is the pain killers my mother occasionally gives me, pot or going to sleep. ANY HELP PLEASE.

I got a new super comfy couch 3 weeks ago and a few times now I fell asleep on it. The following mornings, I had some neck pains (limited neck movement) for 3 to 4 days afterwards.
...but now, I still have this slight back pain that hasn't really gone away since day 1 of getting the new couch and falling asleep on it. I didn't feel any pain when moved some boxes this weekend, but I can feel the slight back pain when I'm laying on the couch or sitting in a chair. My neck pains have diminished 90% now, but I can feel some pain in the neck when I fully turn my head. I think the neck pains have something to do with the back pains. I really don't want to spend $$ if I don't have to just to get a referral from a doctor.

After suddenly getting sever sciatica earlier this year (I am now semi recovered),i was refered to a physiothrapist who told me i had a subtly misaligned pelvis, she has been giving me excercies, today after my session my misaligned pelvis was visibly sockingly wonky. (My left leg is aroung 8cm higher than my right), just a few weeks previously it was more subtle, now she has refered me to a specialist.

What can they do to correct a misaligned pelivs, besides excercises, as they just don't seem to be doing anything, in fact making it worse.
