The bottom of my feet, mostly right foot, front half where the toes are. They don't burn consistently, like when I'm sitting down or whatever it doesnt burn. But when I walk around bare footed it feels like this slight pain on my feet, kinda like a pins and needles/burning type of pain. I must say it does feel like athletes foot since I've had that before and it feels almost the same, but I'm also scared it could be diabetes. I'm gonna see my doctor next tuesday.

In the meantime, anyone know what this could be? Or what exactly I should tell my doctor to check? I don't want him to assume it's just atheletes foot or anything and make me get over the counter medicine and come back if it persists. Id like to rule out anything serious. So what should I say?

And if it turns out to be athletes foot, then good.

May I also add, that when i wear my socks and shoes and go to school I dont feel any pain. I only feel it once I get home and remove them. Basically only when I'm bare footed.

Yes, it could possibly be athlete's foot but this also sounds like it could be a nerve issue. I would recommend following up with your dr first to see what they say could be causing this. Along With This The Doctor May Even Say That You Need To Get Surgery Depending On How Serious The Situation Is... Good Luck!

peripheral neuropathy (numbness, pain, pins and needles - nerve pain) isn't only caused by diabetes - there are hundreds of reasons - mine is hereditary

your problem could be anything - go to your doctor
