It is completely normal. It is not an allergy to opiates. You should be happy that a small dose of them makes you sick. Your body gets used to this real fast. It won't be a problem for long. It wouldn't be long at all before that dose would no longer work and you would need more. If you would rather deal with the pain go ahead. There is nothing wrong with that either.

Nausea and dizziness are normal side effects of Vicodin, but so is pain relief. If you make sure you have something in your stomach, crackers, or bread, and take it with a full glass of water when you're standing up, you shouldn't have any more trouble with nausea. Be careful, though, of the sedating effects of the narcotic. Don't drive if it makes you dizzy or sleepy or high.

You may have an allergy to opiates. Next time warn the doctor and you can get an artificial substitute. My blessings to you if you can deal with the pain. I use 120 extra strength vicodin every month for my migraines.

Yes Vicodin can make you puke the first time you take. Try taking a lower dose (break it in half) until your body gets used to it. Trust me, once that pain is gone you'll be glad you stuck with it.

Did you take it on a full stomach, if you didn't that could cause the side effects, also did you drink a lot of water? When I took it I had really bad cramps and I was vomiting, I went to the doctor and he told me my stomach was empty.

It is very normal..Try breaking it in half, taking the entire pill at once will make you sick to your stomach, the first time only taking half it shouldnt. Then the next time you could try the whole thing, try drinking and eating with it as well...and also laying down will stop the sick to your stomach feeling..

Do you mean you got real nauseaus? That is a side effect, I always eat a slice of bread, or saltine crackers washed down with milk, when I take it.
