Just do a web search on the drug you are looking for. Some sites require an original prescription, others don't. If you buy a controlled substance (many painkillers, sedatives, muscle relaxants, etc) without a prescription, it is illegal, so you have to decide just how badly you want to avoid going to the doctor.
There are hundreds of pharmacies in India that ship to the US. One example is http://www.generic-pharmacy-online.net, but I can't vouch for it specifically. Products are available in generic form much sooner there, because India's patent system is much more consumer-friendly than the US. They generally avoid selling controlled substances, like Vicodin, but will sell products like Ultram. They don't care even slightly if you have a prescription. I suspect most of their business is erectile dysfunction drugs.
There is a risk when products are shipped from abroad -- and most of the internet pharmacies that don't require a prescription ship from overseas, even if the web site doesn't mention this -- that US customs will seize the package. They would send you a letter saying they had done so.
Their is also, of course, a risk that the drugs are counterfeit. You can reduce that by focusing on generic drugs, which are so cheap overseas that they have no reason not to ship the real product.

Personally, I'd never go this route. I'll assume you have an existing condition and a prescription, you're just looking for an online pharmacy to save money.
The reason I wouldn't is because I just wouldn't trust them over my own doctor or neighborhood pharmacy. You never know what you'd be getting and the laws concerning this would be tricky to navigate.

You can get some medications but NOT prescription drugs. If you don't have a prescription or license, it's illegal to sell them, illegal to buy them and it's a federal crime to use the US Mail to get them.
Don't listen to the previous user, Alprazolam is a schedule IV controlled substance it can be ordered on-line from some drugstores but you must follow special ordering procedures, you don't get an Online prescription as she thinks, if she did that, it was illegaly and she can go to jail for that. Not all drugs can be legally ordered on-line, ask your doctor or local licenced pharmacist for alteratives.

You can try www.fivestarpharma.com. I've ordered from them and got my meds with no problems. I think they are still a new website so if you the meds you are looking for are not on the site email them and they will get it for you.
But before you order from any website do your research. It took me couple of site before i found a few that were legit.
let me know if you need other suggestions for online pharmacies

One of the best online pharmacies i have purchased from for years is http://www.xlpharmacy-rx.com
The prices are cheap, no existing prescription is necessary. They offer free online medical consultation so you will receive meds in original manufacturers blister packs with a prescription from their physician. They cannot be beat, in my opinion.

You can get any medication on line without seeing a doctor. Just google search "buy...and whatever medication you are looking for" and you will find it. I got an on line prescription to aprazolam. All you have to do is answer a few questions and they will ship right to your house. Everything is perfectly legal. The prescriptions are legit and from real doctors.
