my buddy, only after drinking a little alcohol, has sharp pains around his belly button area. He's not a big drinker- never was. So, any idea why this is?

I get them really bad, to the point that they are bleeding. I've tried lotioning regularly, but that doesn't help. Any ideas?

I've been giving him massages but they only help for a short period of time. We have been unable to use the ice/heat method yet. But I was wondering people's opinions of muscle relaxers and other techniques we could try. We're poor college students so doctor/acupuncture therapy stuff is out of the question.. Thank You!

I am 25 years old and have constant clicking in my knees whenever I am walking or exercising. I get shooting pains in my shins when i apply direct pressure such as physical activity. Does anyone know what causes this or if it is treatable?

I am passing a kidney stone and in severe pain. I have taken 2 10/325 loracets and the doctor has now decided I should try dalodid (spelling). I took the others1 at 8:00 and 1 at 10:00 it is now almost 11. how long should I wait until I take the delodid? I can't get a hold of the doc.

I have been having lower back pain for some time now.My Doctor has been giving me pain medication to take when needed..Sometimes I have to take them twice a day..I am having a spinal nerve block next week. If this does relieve the pain and I no longer have to take pain medication..will I have withdrawal symptoms from the pain medication?

For the past few weeks, i've had a cold and bronchitis- and i smoke. all of a sudden, i have really bad pain on my right side, my chest, and my back. heavy breathing even hurts!and whats worse, is im pregnant and cant take antibiotics to get better. i think i pulled a muscle...any conclusions? and what can i do to make it better?

Okay, so two days before my menstration, I had small leg pains, like feeling like I had a knot in my right inner thigh, above my knee, then it led on to kind of sore, shooting pain on my outer right thigh. The pain was the same in both thighs, just more severe on the right. I just ended my menstration, and the shooting pains are very little to pretty much, gone, but I still feel like I have a knot in my right inner thigh, above my knee, and I feel like I overstretched my hamstrings on the right thigh, too. Should I be worried???

yes i did just ask this however i decided to be more specific.
where is the pain?
left arm-turn your left hand so your palm is facing towards the ceiling. starting at your wrist put down 3 fingers. with the third finger down, press. this is where it hurts. it feels as if it could be indented.
when does it hurt?
It hurts most where i move my wrist and type. however it is almost constant pain and it is sharp.
what does it look like?
normal. no swelling, no redness, no bruising. it is weird, i know.

i am 16 years old and have ruled out tendonitis as i have it in my knees and i know what it feels like. i haved tried wrapping it and icing it but neither helps. i am going to the doctor tomorrow so please dont tell me to.

I get a TERRIBLE charlie horse every night. I wake up like peralyzed with pain and I literally scream. I rub my leg and there's a huge knot when I rub it it makes it worse and it goes away slowly in like 5-10 minutes and quicker if i put liniment on it. Is this normal? Alot of my friends get them to just not as painful.

Does anyone know what can cause this? I don't have any other symptoms. It comes suddenly and lasts for hours then it usually doesent reacurr for along time though.
Over the counter meds do not take the pain away either.

I got spacers yesterday and omg they hurt so bad when I eat I cant even chew with them. I tried tylenol nothings working. Is this normal. It even hurts when I eat bread.
