No. When you are first injured and expect a bruise, you should rub a hard icepack on the area to diffuse the blood and reduce swelling and bruising. It hurts like hell, but it works. After the bruise is already formed, there is nothing you can do but let it heal on its own. In some rare cases, bruises that do not heal can be drained by a doctor.

if you see just a bruise then pushing on it should not be needed nor should it be painful . uncomfortable yes painful no.
if there is a budge where what you think this bruise is then you should see the medical doctor. yes some pressure by hand would feel better and not cause you harm but see the doctor .

No. A bruise is a blood clot under the skin consisting of a pool of blood. Compressing the bruise with pressure would only increase the damage and possibly cause more damage.

I once had the most huge bruise in my leg ...the weired part is I dont rememebr how I got it!
it took me 1 month to heal..
so no dont push....
and by the way u cant feel the pain unless u touch it!

Only if you have just bumped it. It may help to stop the bleeding under the skin. Use ice, also. After 2 days, use hot packs to help it absorb.
