Pain & Pain Management - December 2006

The pain is located on the ball of my left foot and continues around to the top. The toes, heel and arch are not involved. If I push on the sides of the balls of my feet the pain is the worst. The pain is the worst in the middle of the night and keeps me awake. Even though I don't want to walk it seems to get better. This pain will last a couple of days and then go away only to come back, reasons unknown, in a week or so. Nothing I read about seems to identify my exact problem. The first time this pain occurred was in the middle of the night about a month ago and I thought I had broken my foot. It has since occurred two more times.

its bin a bit cold here, no snow, just chilly winds. i was out most of last night, walking home, with just a slippers and stocklings. at night i felt strange.. for most nights now i wake up feeling cold.. the same tin happnd last night.. i woke by 4:30 feeling cold.
in the morning i found all 10fingers swollen, and the palm a bit off-color, and i know i am cold inside. i searchd the net and couldnt link cold directly to swelling fingers.
has anyone ever had this experience?

I get SEVERE migraines and cannot take the normal migraine drugs. For the worst of them, I am allowed 2 injections a month of 3mgs of Dilaudid and 100mgs of Visteral. At home, I was allowed 12 Moriphine (at 5mgs each) suppositories a month. I started having a reaction to the Moriphine so, my Doctor switched me to Dilaudid suppositories instead. I quess what i am asking is there a nurse or a pharmacist out there that can help me figure out the dosage? like is 5 mgs of moriphine compareable to 3 of dilaudid if they are both suppositories?

When I get a pain in my neck or I have a right sided headache, the only thing that is a temporary fix is to crack my neck. If I just tilt my head to the side I can make it crack and this makes it feel better. Sometimes a few spots will be really loud. Does anyone know why this is happening and if I should try to stop?

I cant talk and it hurts really bad when i swallow. I took some medicine but when i woke up this morning it really hurt. Could i have strep throat, or layringitis. the doctors removed breast tuiess from my arms i only sign paper for one arm when i was wroke up out if my sleep i saw my two arms band up that what aug. this year, i am still feeling pain in my left hand i never give the premmsion to both arms. when my hands hard pain me all times please help me.

I'm not one to take pills for anything but i currently have this aching muscle pain on my shoulder and the lower side of my neck.

how safe is advil to take? i dont like taking pills. whenever i take any i chew them like a little kid.

this pain is awful and wish to get rid of it.

and to add to this...its finals week in college so i have to be up all night studying and need to drink energy drinks...so are pills safe with consuming energy drinks?

I'm not sure why they are so sore....
I took an abs class the other day (a friday) and today (monday...) they are hurting more than they were the past few days!!!!!
I cant even stretch them out because it hurts so badly
And when I cough or laugh I can feel my abs stretching...
Its not any wierd pain, just soreness.

I tried taking a bath tonight and it helped at first but now it just hurts even more...
any advice on how to get over the "after work-out" sore...cause its bugging me.

I have to twich, make a tight muscle or strech in a weird way for the pain to go away. This is something that happen on an everyday basis. It really bother I don't know what it can be. I don't drink, smoke, or drug. Hopefully someone out there can help me...

I have braces on my upper and lower teeth. They change my wires every 6 weeks I go to my orthodontist and for about a week or more I have pretty bad pain and all of my teeth are very sore for over a week. My Orthodontist said he can't write prescriptions because he doesn't have a license to. So what am I to do! I need the prescription pain pills because only prescription pain pills will work on me. I'm not a drug addict or anything like that. I have tried every single over the counter pain pills but nothing will help at all. I've taken 4 Extra Strength Percogesic, 4 Advil Liquid Gels, 4 Aleves, 4 Aspirins, 4 Tylenols and many more over the counter pain pills but nothing will work. How can I get Prescription Pain Pills for my brace and teeth pain? I know my doctor will not write a Prescription for just brace pain on teeth. Doctors are scared to write prescriptions for people who need them. Who else would write a Prescription for my pain?

The past two days have been really stressful and I've been getting stress headaches. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble sleeping due to stress and that doesn't help my head at all. Does anyone know of some techniques to get rid of stress headaches because headache medicines aren't working.
