I work on the computer all day and I get headaches often. But my sister had the same problem and went to the doctor and found out she had a severe sinus infection and didn't know it. She didn't have a runny nose or anything. Get her checked out!

My son was the same. from early on he had headaches that were persistant. Everything medical was ruled out. It turned out that it was anxiety. Keep an eye on her. Watch her behavior. My son was very hard to detect that is why we never suspected it. when there was nothing to do, we thought it was allergies. all I did was to give pain killer and have him rest. As he grew up, other things emerged and in six grade finally he got to a stage that his feelings started manifesting in sever physical pain or numbness of limbs where there is no medical foundation for it. I mean all tests turn out ok and no one knew what was going on. Finally we were told seek psychatric help and he was diagnossed with conversion disorder, rare. his emotions, fear, anxiety would litteraly, all of the sudden slam him on the floor because he would loose feeling in his legs. I don't want to alarm you and by no means implying this would happen to your child. All I am saying is, that his headaches baffeled everyone. I wish I knew it sooner. Believe it or not he was so great in hiding and covering I had no clue. Later on in therapy sessions I found out that inside, my child was a mess, although excellent in covering and hiding. If I knew, I would have started him on counselling and medication back then. So keep an eye on her and tune into her feelings and mood. It might just be that she is an anxious person. good luck

Yes, headaches can be caused by computer and TV.
There are so many reasons why your daughter might be getting headaches. I would bring her back into the doctor. Let the doctor know her headaches are really bad and you want further testing done. CT or MRI.

Absolutly. Especially if she is prone to them and she doesn't take frequent breaks to rest her eyes and if she needs glasses. also, the contrast ,lighting on her moniter may cause it to be worse. She can also have glasses made for the computer if she has to work on one all day. If it's just playing and chattine, she needs other things to do. This is your responsibility if ahs is living with you. So, do what has to be done. Good luck.
