Im 20 and have been experiencing discomfort in my chest for about 3 days now. Its not major, debilitating pain, but it is noticeable and it has me worried. I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow morning but was hoping for some opinions before i go along.

The discomfort (which ranges from a dull ache to a feeling of pressure) is in the upper left of my chest, which is the reason why im worried. The fact that it is localised on the left means the pain is coming from around the region of my heart. I know it could be any number of other things (stress, pulled muscle etc.) but im really paranoid that it has something to do with my heart. However, i know heart problems arnt really common in people my age.

So what do you reckon? is it worth worrying about, am i getting myself worked up over nothing? can anyone suggest anything else that might be causing it?

Is it the mattress or the pillow? Logically if its the mattress problem then my back should hurt too. But it doesn't. Whenever I get up in the morning it seems like a bone has dislocated and bulged out at the back of my neck. But after a while everything is ok. It hurts though. What should I do? I even tried sleeping on the floor on a sleeping bag with no mattress & same pillow but pain didn't go away. Please advise. Do I need the expensive theraeupuetic mattresses?

It started about three months ago. I found out I had arthritis in my neck so could it be arthritis of my right hip? I've never injured it or anything and I am young and healthy, what the heck is it. It starts at the right hip and goes a little around back and very painful. Exercise doesnt help. I have spinal cord compression at my neck but that's not it either i don't think. HELP!

I rear ended a van last october. My car was smashed about two feet in on the passenge side. I went to the ER the next day. The doctor there told me that I had spastic muscles and that they where pinching my nerves. I had a shocking pain that ran down my arm and beleive it or not my right breast would vibrate here and there. It was about three months when those symtoms passed. But now a year later, I have a awful pain in the left side of my neck. there are only a few positions that I can rotate my neck with out it hurting. The pain goes from my bottom neck on my spine and shoots to the left side. I'm going to set up a doctors appointment as soon as my insurance kicks in. But the pain is just so annoying and I'm afriad I might move the wrong way and make it worse.

I woke yesterday morning with the phone ringing and was unable to pick it up and answer it. Occasionally just one hand will "go to sleep" while doing a variety of activities. I also have had a tingling sensation in my feet and legs while laying down. Should I visit my doctor?

It feels almost like my feet and lower legs have fever, with heat radiating off them. They are so achy and almost itchy, but not itchy. I have a restless feeling in my legs, like a creepy crawly spiderweb feeling. It keeps me from being able to relax, to sleep at all. If I take something to help me sleep, it seems to make the symptoms worse. I will take cool lotion and rub and massage my feet and legs which will help for about 5 minutes. But then it starts right back up again. Does anyone have a clue what this might be and what I can do to alleve the symptoms? Thanks in advance for your help! Happy Holidays!!
