How can I recover?

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

If it's a terrible one, go into a quiet, lightless room and lay down. Relax. Sometimes it helps to rub the temples near your eyes. If that doesn't work, taking a nice warm bath or shower will also help with the pain. Make sure to either splash your face and head with warm water or sponge it. Depending upon the degree of the headache, take the appropriate medication. For migraines, Excedrin Migraine works well. But for the common headache, Extra Strength Tylenol also does the trick.
And whatever you do, try not to think too much on how much your head's hurting!

Hope this helps!

if its a bad headache, feeling like a migraine, take some excederin migraine.. its the best thing i have found for headaches/migraines. But if you dont want to do that, then put a teabag in a cup of hot water and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. It will make it stronger, then drink it with no sugar. But one thing is to keep yourself hydrated. Losing water in your body will actually trigger a headache. If its almost bedtime, just try to relax, and massage your temples. This opens up you blood vessels in your head so blood can flow freely.

When i get a headache I take Excedrin Migraine and go straight to bed. You could try putting hot wash cloths on your eyes and keep lights and sound off because they can make it worse. If the pain is there for a couple days go to the doctor you could be having a migraine and they are not fun.
