I get SEVERE migraines and cannot take the normal migraine drugs. For the worst of them, I am allowed 2 injections a month of 3mgs of Dilaudid and 100mgs of Visteral. At home, I was allowed 12 Moriphine (at 5mgs each) suppositories a month. I started having a reaction to the Moriphine so, my Doctor switched me to Dilaudid suppositories instead. I quess what i am asking is there a nurse or a pharmacist out there that can help me figure out the dosage? like is 5 mgs of moriphine compareable to 3 of dilaudid if they are both suppositories?

'equivalencies' are just rough approximations. The dose always needs to be tailored to the patient with narcotic analgesics. I've never heard of a dilaudid suppository.
