I am 25 years old and have constant clicking in my knees whenever I am walking or exercising. I get shooting pains in my shins when i apply direct pressure such as physical activity. Does anyone know what causes this or if it is treatable?

It sounds like shin splints. They are actually small stress fractures, you should see a doctor. And you will have to stay off them and probably have to not do any strenuous exercise.
