My ring is stuck on my finger and I tried taking it off and it got swollen. Now my finger is literally more than double its normal size. I tried warm water, hot water, cream etc it just wont come off!!!! What should I do?!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!! I'm crying. I am really scared. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

I have had two sores on the inside of my mouth for a few days now. One is on the upper lip and one on the lower lip, neither one anywhere near the other. Both are on the wet part of the lip, kind of near where the lip meets the gums. They look like canker sores- swollen red area with a crater-like white patch in the center. However, I didn't think that you could get more than one canker sore at a time. Also, when I kissed my gf a few days ago she says that she got a canker sore the next morning when she woke up- I didn't think they were contagious but I didn't think cold sores erupted that fast after transmission. Are these two sores canker sores or cold sores?

It isn't so bad with minimal activity, but when I get in to working, working out, or using the mouse from the cpu my wrist hurts. Mainly on the right side as the palm faces down.

dont they know that not only themselves, but their family, breaking their heart for doing something as extremely STUPID, just because their life is bad. Emos need to toughen up. They were put on this earth for a reason. I hate it when they brag about cutting. So im like basicly racist about emos. Im not racist when it comes to skin color or heritege or anything like that. I dont really care. I just feel sorry for the people that have to wear that reaally tacky thing over their head so no one could see how beautiful their hair looked.

Trying to get clean off pain meds but do it slowly! Just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with the drug Fentynal (Duragesic Pain Patches @ 125 mg every 2 days) or methadone pills. Question is: "Will the methadone help me get off these oh so addicting patches THAT I'VE BEEN ON FOR 2 YEARS NOW or am I only going to REPLACE AN EVIL WITH ANOTHER EVIL? pulses seem to be coming from the back of my head down my neck, through my body as if electrical pulses are being sent round my nervous system. I can also feel it through my brain and for the split second it happens it makes me nousious. some cases i can feel it go as far as my finger tips. i think i may have "jammed" my finger somehow...its at the very top joint where it connects to the hand. it isnt swollen or anything, but it hurts a LOT and if i dont continue to pop it, it hurts even more. i was thinking about seeing a doctor, but im not sure if there is much a doctor can do...

do you think its worth going to the doctor for? do you think it will heal on its own? do you have any other advice that may help me?

I work at an apartment complex and deliver notices some days, work in heals everyday and whenever I am not at work, I am constantly running everywhere and doing something with never any relaxation except bed time...

I'm 36weeks preggers, and think I might have a problem with my siatic nerve (exuse spelling). When I stand and rest one foot i get a sharp pain in my lower back on the side that is resting, I cant roll over in bed and when I sit down sometimes i'm in too much pain to get up, I feel like I'm parayalized a bit as well.

My doctor had me on Norco (10/325mg) and recently switched me to Darvocet (650). Will there be a substantial difference in the two? The Norco REALLY makes me feel high and I don't like it. Thanks!

I went to ER last night for severe eye pain and was diagnosed with a cornial abrasion. The doctor prescribed oxycodone and told me to take one every 8 hours. The problem is, after about 4 or 5 hours, the pain comes back full force. Is it okay to take something like a light dose of Tylenol or something similar? Or should I cut one of my prescribed pills in half? I called the doctor who treated me. She wasn't in and the rushed doctor I spoke to only told me to follow the instructions and hung up before I could ask her about OTC medicine. Can you help me?

The doc often tells me that my BP is high during medical check up but when i tested my BP at home using a digital BP meter, it never exceeds 140/80. I tried my best to relax during the med checks but it does not work. I have a pre employment med check coming up soon and i am worried sick that i will fail it due to high BP. How can i overcome this?

ATTN Doctors, Nurses, or PA's ~

I am on Opana (oxymorphone) therapy for a degenerative back disorder. Is it stronger than, or equal to oxycontin? Or what is its equivalent miligram dosage? I take Opana 10mg Extended Release (2x a day), and Opana 5mg (4 to 6 a day) for the inbetween times. Ive been on Oxycontin too, but the withdrawal from that was worse than the oxymorphone when I took a break from it. The oxycontin also didnt seem to work as well. Is that normal? I was surprised to not have any withdrawal pains when I went off the oxymorphone, thank God. Can anyone tell me what my Opana intake is equal to in regards to oxycontin, and if it is in fact a stronger medication. Thank you, and wish me luck. I dont want to have to take oxymorphone for the rest of my life. I will say that the oxymorphone is a Godsend at the moment. It lets me drive, walk almost normally, and live without the pain.. I even do yoga to try and help. But if someone can answer my first question, I thank you.

okay heres the deal,
i went to a water park Sunday..did some climbing and jumping and throwing kids in the water and felt fine doing it. ivee been to this water park 6 times in the past years and have never felt like this afterwards .so then when i got home all the pain started...

I'm having this pain..really bad in my arms, i can hardly type it hurts so bad, i cant close my hand and cant open them all the way without lots of pain. it feels like someone has beat my arms with a metal pole, i cant pick up hardly anything..i have to hold my drink w/ two hands to keep from dropping it. my legs hurt if i squat and bend down but not when im walking. thought id had pulled or stretched some muscles, but didnt think it would last this long..any ideas?

my little brother gets accidentally hit in the eyes with pillows doesn't happen alot but can he lose his eyesight .. its getting hard for him to read words on the T.V.

i tell him time after time that he's too close to the T.v. when watching and to close to the computer could this be why he is losing his eyesight?? my older brother needed glasses at a young age too so could it be that is happens in the family or something like that

In december 2005, I fractured my growth plate and all of last year, my arm was still hurting. Now one of my arms is just over an inch longer than the other. I was 13 when I fractured it but now I'm 15. Could it hurt because it's not growing? Thanks. Mary.
