You may have an abcessed tooth. The pain and infection from an abcessed tooth can cause pain on the whole side of your face that's affected. You may also have a sinus infection. I've had severe sinus infections that made my teeth and gums ache, especially when bending forward.

In either case, you need an antibiotic to clear up the infection. If it's an abcessed tooth, the dentist will not do any work on it until the infection has subsided.

Yes, the nerves in the head are interconnected. Which is why a toothache can also give you a headache. Or a sinus infection could feel like it is connected to a toothache, but really is just a sinus infection. Please see a doctor, you may possibly need antibiotics.

You know it is most likely that it is only one of them as they both feel the same. First get your ear checked, if its not inflamed it is probably your tooth.
