In december 2005, I fractured my growth plate and all of last year, my arm was still hurting. Now one of my arms is just over an inch longer than the other. I was 13 when I fractured it but now I'm 15. Could it hurt because it's not growing? Thanks. Mary.

Obviously a fracture of a growth plate is serious at your age. However, you didn't mention whether this was your primary, or strong side, arm. If it is, then it is quite possible for it to become longer then the other, due to stretching and using it more.

One side of your body is bigger then the other. Not just you.
