Or if you're asleep, the cigarette isn't lit, and it's only put NEAR your eye.
Or if it's only a photograph of your eye.

LOL...what?? I am sure you would know it if someone put one IN your eye. Near it? I dont know. I think that if they got close to it you would definitely see or feel it. This is a very bizarre question...lol...Explain it more for us please...Do you have a burn mark??

YES!
I got burnt on my arm and it was VERY painful. More painful than other burns.....
Even smoke in your eyes really hurts.
You'd know for sure..
