pulses seem to be coming from the back of my head down my neck, through my body as if electrical pulses are being sent round my nervous system. I can also feel it through my brain and for the split second it happens it makes me nousious. some cases i can feel it go as far as my finger tips. I have also had an increase in twitches and tiredness. It has been going on for 3 days

Have you had problems with your back or bulging disks before? Sounds like your spinal cord may be getting pressure from bulging or deteriorating disks. This can cause the twitches and tingling sensations you are experiencing. You should see a doctor ASAP. Probably need to see a neurologist.

This is caused by tension - more exactly by high adrenaline levels. If there is some issue worrying you, the symptoms will subside once you've dealt with it. If you can't think of an immediate cause, see your doctor in case it's an indicator of something more serious.

I can't understand why with symtoms like that, you have not asked your doctor.
This is not the place to get any answers that matter and any way what could any of us do about it?

if you are on/or coming off anti-depressants, this is often a side effect.
