You need to put ice on it and hold it above your head. The ice will help the bruising you caused by pulling on it, and holding it above your head will relieve the blood pressure to the finger.

First of all, Relax..Calm Down...
Now, try rubbing a lot of soap on your fingers and slowly try twisting the ring out..If this doesn't work just wait for a little while for the swelling to go down..It might take a little while, so don't worry..
If you're still very concerned about it..get your ring cut off. After all the ring isn't even half as important as your finger right? So, wipe of your tears right away and give the computer screen a little smile after reading this =)
Every thing's gonna be okay!! Take care.. xx

Cold will decrease the swelling.. warm just makes it bigger!! So soak your finger in water as cold as you can stand for 5 minutes... now you have a couple choices
1) Oil (something really really slippery..not cream) Slather the finger with oil and try that
2) Thread (slip a thread between ring and finger then wind it tightly around the finger working the ring up slowly.. the thread should compress the skin and you should be able to get the ring moved up)
3) If these do not work, call an ambulance.. they can cut the ring off. Or go to ER.. they can do the same there
Do not wait to long as you are cutting off blood circulation to the finger and that can be dangerous
Good luck!!

The first thing you need to do is calm down. It isn't uncommon for fingers to swell a little during summertime, so that's probably normal, and messing with it right now is only going to make it worse. If your ring isn't cutting off circulation too badly, place some ice on your finger and allow for the swelling to go down, it make take a few hours or even up to a day. As long as the ring is not cutting off circulation it can wait. If the ring is cutting off circulation (your finger is turning purple, blue, blackish color) then you need to go to your doctor or the hospital where they can cut it off your finger (don't worry you can get it fixed at many jewlers).

Take something, like ibuprofen to take the swelling down. While you wait for it to kick in, put ice on it. That should also reduce swelling. The best thing right now is to wait for the medication and the ice to kick in and do their job. If the swelling goes down, try putting oil, or lotion if you don't have oil, on the inside of your ring. Wiggle it around. Don't pull too hard where you could hurt your skin. And if you really cannot get it off, you need to go to the doctor. I don't know what they will do, but they may have some other methods. Hope I helped.

first let ure finger comes back to its original size by putting ice on it to reduce swelling. Stop pulling or tugging at the ring coz u might accidently dislocate the joint at the finger. Then try immerse your finger in (very)soapy water and try to remove the ring. If it's not working then ER is your last resort. You can resize/fix your ring after that.

Rub oil on your finger, ice will help some and hold your arm up over your head. The last two will help with the swelling, Give it time. Let yourself pull the ring off. If it won't come off then, go on to ER.Hold it over your head and the cold or icy water for awhile to give it time at first.

First of all, there is no need to become alarmed, just calm down.
Get some ice from the freezer and put it in some cold water to make it very cold and hold your hand in it for a few minutes.
Then using soap lather up a good amount of bubbles and gently twist the ring to remove.
Failing that ER, or a jewellry shop will be able to cut it off.

First of all, try to relax. If you panic it is just going to get worse. Try to elevate it for a while to reduce the swelling. Wait a few hours if you can. I know you are in pain. See if a couple of anti-inflammatory like naproxen and apply some ice for short periods (10-15 mins). Then you should try to remove the ring with vaseline.

Place a cool pack over the area and hopefully the swelling will subside if in major pain and discomfort seek help. You may want to consider medical assistance to check the area in concern. Firstly don't panic try the cool pack heat will probably inflame the area. Even try a frozen bag of veggies that have been wrapped in a towel/ face washers so the skin doesn't have direct contact with extreme cold.

The only thing you can do is take the ring off. To do this push down the fat of your finger as much as possible. This should give you room to pull the ring off. If not then soak your hand in very hot water to expand the metal and also to soften your finger, then push down the meat of your finger to create room and try to slip the ring off. If not then consult a trusted Doctor.
