I fell from my bike and got a minor wound on my knee last day. Today morning, I removed the bandaging and found that the wound was still fresh but the bleeding had stopped.

I haven't went for a wound-dressing again. Should I just leave the wound open and apply Betadine ointment on it or should I go get it dressed again?

Hoping to receive some kind advice from all you wonderful people...

I sprained my ankle about a month ago and have been using the Aircast brace the doctor gave me to support my ankle during basketball. But everyone is telling me to get a lace up brace because they are better.

I tried to tell her by talking about my favorite soap and then giving her some of it. she said she tried sulphur soap but it made her stink worse. What else can I do to help her. I even told her to wash twice a day but she wont. she suffers from depression and sometimes wont wash.

First off I dont want anyone reading this thinking I cut myself because I DONT. I repeat I dont. I was in the shower shaving and I was shaving my arms because I dont like hair on them. Well I wasnt carefull and the razor curved and it made a deep big but on my arm. Its about 4 and a half inches long, 1 inch deep and 1 inch wide. I know know if I should go to the doctor and have it looked at..I want to know will it heal soon? Should I go to the doctor and how do I keep it clean. I have been putting band aides on it and keeping the cut clean. I cleaned it and today I took the old band aides off and put some new ones on because I thought I should make sure its clean. Well its been a day since it happened and its still bleeding. My Mom is worried I hurt a mussuel or something or a vein in my arm. Monday she wants to take me to the doctor to have them check it out. But could you please answer my Qs I just want some advice

my legs dont hurt unless i walk alot or run. like in pe class. especially since we run the mile every week. i live on a farm so there is alot to do. help!!!

I don't mean cramps, charlie horses, etc. Those stopped when I got an electric blanket.
I mean those automatic jerks of the foot or leg when one is on the edge of falling asleep. Any one know a remedy that works for you? Not the bar of soap or quinine stuff. That doesn't work for the foot/leg jerk.

Dont ask how I got this cut but I have this cut on my arm which is bad its about 6 inches long 3 inches deep and 2 inches wide..I just want to know how long will it take till it heals? I have been putting bandiades on it and even after its been a day since I got it I took them off to replace them and its still bleeding..What do I do? And how long till it goes away? Will I have a scar?

This sounds odd, but Wednesday morning, as my husband was getting out of the shower, he had a huge sneeze, and he felt a pulling in his lower left back, from his hip to his lower buttock.
He says it feels more muscular than spinal.
Does this sound like sciatica nerve, and if so.....what can he do to ease the pain, and how long until he is healed?
He is pretty functional during the day, but getting up is painful. He is 43 years old.Thanks for any info you can give.

I was just setting here and my brain like actully farted...no noise or smell but it felt like it farted...it hurt!!! My mind did not go blanck or anything...it just hurt for a few secondes. Has any one else experinced this?

for anybody who has ever used a stimulant laxative...im wondering how long you are stuck on the toilet for and if it does give you really bad cramps????????? and how bad are the urges? so bad you can't leave your home, can't hold it in? so bad that you cant do anything? i only want to hear from someone who has used one. im just curious. im not going to use them i am just curious as to how they work.

All of a sudden my mid-to-lower back just started throbbing, pulsating, and I can feel it pushing pain toward my stomach within the middle of my body. Hurting so bad I am almost panicking.

This is just random. My neighbor said that I could have just been walking through the house and stepped wrong and pulled something.

It was getting worse by the minute, but as I am typing this I am noticing it is diminishing. I took an 800 mg motrin a few minutes ago. Anyone ever had pain like this before? What is up with this!

How do you deal with your Mygrains? I get really bad mygrains! I get mygrains so bad they sent me to the Neurologist, and the thing is that I see my doctor once a month...He is like foriegn or something and so it seem that no matter how many different ways I explain it to him he doesn't seem to understand, what exactly I mean! They have me on Topamax which doesn't seem to be helping much it is supposed to be a preventative. There are some days that my mygrains are so bad that I throw-up. This is not all that fun considering the fact that I am only 17 years old and have better things to do than spend my time paralyzed by mygrains. Also when I get mygrains I can't remember anything that I am supposed to...Like my memorization sucks! I know I should get help from a doctor but the doctor doesn't seem to be helping so what do you all think?
