I'm not going to ask you how you got your cut, because, you've already told me. Anyways, the nurse in me needs to tell you that you should seek medical attention, for a couple of reasons. The cut could get seriously infected, and you need someone to talk to about why you feel the need to hurt yourself, or the fact that someone else hurt you.
As for the cut itself. It is extremely important that it stay clean. The edges of the cut need to stay together in order to heal. If there are no stitches there will be a scar. The continuous blood suggests a large deep wound. If the surrounding skin is turning pink or red, and is warm to the touch you must get help as this is called cellulitis and can lead to blood poisoning. This is when the wound gets infected and the bacteria enters the skin, and then the bloodstream. This can be fatal.
A cut this size and this deep really isn't something to hiding. Please try to get someone to help you get some medical attention.
I know that you are probably scared, but I'm sure that there is someone that you can trust. If you are afraid that the ER will ask too many questions, then go to an urgent care center. Come up with a plausible story, or another name for that matter. But for heavens sake, get someone to sew up the wound so you can heal the wound. Good luck and God speed!

3 inches deep? That is pretty severe...and 2 inches wide? You need medical attention. Your primary concern shouldn't be scarring, it should be infection. A laceration or avulsion that deep and covering that much area is something to be extremely concerned about. Get medical attention. 3 inches deep would go through the other side of most people's arms. Have you lost any range of motion or muscle control? That wound that large simply won't go away on its own. Expect permanent damage unless you have a doc treat it.

Yes you probably will have a scar and a big one if you don't get it attended to. I quickly scanned the other answers, listen go to the hospital/Doctors and get it attend to, before it's to late and you have a major infection

for a cut that large, you should have had it stitched up. It might not be too late to go to the er, but I'm sure you'll have a scar. You need to keep it from getting infected.

With a cut that size, you would have probably cut some nerves, vessels or worse. If you wait any longer, you cannot have stiches. You should go and see what they can do for you and you definitely would need a tetanus shot and maybe a menal evaluation.

Go to the ER and get stiches. It sounds bad and could get infected. If you made the cut yourself, baby get some help, it's all around.

Tell your mom. You may be scared now, but if that gets infected, or keeps bleeding, you'll be in a lot more trouble. Just tell her you need help.

You need immediate medical attention. An infection can lead to gangrene and you could lose your whole arm and/or die. Really!
