My left knee clicks when I go up the stairs. It also hurts very badly when I sit in a chair for too long. I sometimes wakeup with this intense pain in my knee and bending it doesn't help as it does with a "charliehorse" or whatever. I have trouble getting down the stairs because It feels like I am putting too much pressure on it.
If you know something about this please help!
Thanks

My stomach hurts extremely bad, and I don’t know what to do about it. Every time I eat I get this crippling stomach ache, I can barely walk let alone breath. Right now I feel like I’m going to throw up, but I’m scared to. I’m already in enough pain, and although it seems like I need to, I don’t want to make it worse. I really don’t know what could be wrong with me. Does anyone know what could be cause such extreme stomach pain? What can I do to relieve it? And should I stop myself from throwing up? Please help!

She was in a motorcycle accident 5 months ago and is paralyzed from the waist down. She recently has "regained muscle control" of her stomach, (she can voluntarily contract her own stomach muscles) and she said shes regained some feeling in her lower back. This past week she has had a burning sensation in her lower back and bottom. Are these good signs? We're all rootin' for her to walk and surf again. What % of a chance do you think she has of walking again?

How do I explain to my mom that my ankle can indeed be broken?? She keeps saying, "No it's just bruised".. and won't take me to the Fremont Medical Center to get a X-Ray.. I can't even walk on it, nor put weight on it... I fell on my skateboard, if that matters...

Help please!!! I can't miss anymore days of school!

In P.E. I messed up my thumb some how and nobody thinks that I really hurt it except for the fact that it is swollen and it hurts to move. The best way I can think of to fix this is to have my thumb immobolised for a long period of time in a cast so I can't move my thumb which means I would have to break my thumb so my mom will take me to the doctors. But I need to break my thumb by the end of November so it will be better intime for a school sport. I also need a believeable story to tell my mom how i broke my thumb because it might sound funny saying i intentionally broke my thumb. Thanks!!!

My 9 year old son dropped a weight on it a few months ago and it turned black & a new nail is growing underneath. I assumed the old nail would just fall off. However, in the last week or so, it has started to smell VERY bad. I tried scrubbing it but it hasn't helped. Should he see a doctor or is something over the counter that can help him?

the "twitch" is similar to the movement that occurs when you have the dream that you are falling down the steps, etc., but it is not accompanied by the dream. it doesn't occur right as i am falling asleep, but instead, when i have been asleep for an hour or more. sometimes it wakes me up, but sometimes it does not wake me up. it is enough movement that it wakes me partner up, though. it feels as though the movement might look like when someone on television goes in to cardiac arrest and has his or her heart shocked and the whole body bounces up a bit.
any ideas?
