In P.E. I messed up my thumb some how and nobody thinks that I really hurt it except for the fact that it is swollen and it hurts to move. The best way I can think of to fix this is to have my thumb immobolised for a long period of time in a cast so I can't move my thumb which means I would have to break my thumb so my mom will take me to the doctors. But I need to break my thumb by the end of November so it will be better intime for a school sport. I also need a believeable story to tell my mom how i broke my thumb because it might sound funny saying i intentionally broke my thumb. Thanks!!!

don't be silly!
if you break your thumb you could end up doing more damage than intended, what if you damage it wrong and you loose the use of your thumb for life?
so you hurt your thumb, go to the hospital if your in pain and let them xray it, they will tell you if you have damaged it.
DONT TRY BREAKING BONES IN YOUR BODY i take it your a young kid, carry on playing computer games, you'll end up with a sore thumb (called RSI)

That's some pretty drastic action you're considering, do you know what the pain is going to be like? I don't think so. So you need to stop thinking about breaking your thumb just to get an existing problem taken care of. Ever think about ending up with a deformed digit, it happens all the time. I can't imagine that sitting down with your mother or father (or both) will not result in the proper attention you require. Explain to them what is going on, that it is a real problem and you need help. If your thumb is swollen they can see that somethings not right and they will take care of you.

Hands are a very delicate thing, best to break a leg or an arm, you may never get full use of your thumb back if you ever have bone breakage in the hand and that would be a drag for hitchiking.
How about go see the school nurse or a free clinic...

He is not into you enough for marriage. What if he may already be married and never got a divorce? It sounds like he is just playing you so you never know what he might have done. He is committing a criminal act if he's in the U.S. illegally. Marriage does NOT automatically "fix" his immigration status. Shacking up with a criminal (illegal) alien is a really bad idea! If he isn't ready after 4 years then he's not worth wasting time on. Move on now! You should have dumped this dude a long time ago. Living together before marriage just increases the odds that you will never get married.

Don't break your thumb. Instead fake you have a back problem. They are sometimes hard to detect. Just say that you get muscle spasms and have to lie on the floor till they go away. Say you felll backwards and hit against something and hurt your back that way.

You probably sprained your thumb. Or, you could tape your thumb so it looks broken, just buy some medical tape at the drug store, and get a splint (or use tongue depressors or popsicle sticks).

Do what I did, I fell over the vacuum cleaner hose, lost my balance, fell backwards, put my right arm and hand out to break my fall, landed on my thumb ,pushed it backwards, "snick". It is unbearably painful for such a little thing, I can`t write now but I can do nine finger typing.

Okay, dont break your thumb..thats just stupid. Tell your mom that you really want to go to the doctor because you hurt your thumb and it still hasn't gotten better. BUT DONT BREAK YOUR THUMB!

Or you could go buy some dressing and patch your thumb up yourself... Or explain to your mom that it really is in pain and that you need to see a doctor... Breaking your thumb yourself is a tad drastic!

Don't break your thumb. Take yourself to the doctors and have it looked at for whatever's wrong now.

If I were you I would put my head in a vise, and clamp down on it real hard, than while doing so I would call for help and say that my thumb hurts, while I am turn the vise with it.
