I stepped hard on a toothpick and now it is stuck in my foot. I tried pulling it a little but it won't budge and the pain is IMMENSE. It's about halfway through my foot, right under my toes. Anyone have any idea on how I can get it out??? I'm crying it hurts so bad!

Have someone take you to the ER. If there is no one available call 911. There may be a fee but don't worry about it. You risk getting an infection if you don't get it treated right away. Ask them for a lot of pain medicine, they will most likely gladly accommodate this

I would advise you to avoid taking the toothpick out yourself. There will be a lot of pain and the risk of spllinters. At the ER they will dose you up with medicine then take it out themselves.

See a doctor before you do anything. It's probably lodged in a muscle, tendon or bone. Feet are complicated.

If you NEED it out though (and i don't recommend this because you could hurt yourself) have someone else get some pliers and pull firmly but gently in the direction opposite how the toothpick is stuck in. DO NOT wiggle it to try and get it out.

Take your foot and the toothpick to the ER or urgent care immediately. Following other advice from total strangers could cause you to have a bigger problem than you already have.

I would say pull it out, but then you have the risk of getting a splinter from the wood inside your foot. You should go to the ER and let them get it out for you, and give you something for the pain too.

Go to the hospital and have them pull it out. I know how you feel I had a sewing needle brake off in my foot. Man did that hurt!

You may want to try your nearest emergency room, That's what I did when I fell on a needle and rammed it into my knee, I couldn'[t get it out either..BUT they numbed it up, and it helped a lot! good luck..Oh and try to pick up those tooth picks when they fall so you don't do it again!
