i'm a male 26 years old and i have bad heartburn with lightheadedness. It also feels like my heart is pumping hard in my chest sometimes. what does this mean?

go to the Dr. it could be a heart attack!

My husband thought he was having a heart attack, he had, chest pains, bad heartburn, light headedness, couldnt breath good. So I rushed him to hospital where they admitted him for 3 days. They did a heart cath even though there was nothing showing on the scans and they concluded that his heart was perfect and it must be something else.. They sent him home still in pain. He went around the corner to dr. and found out he had holes in his esogous???spelling anyway he is fine now after antacid treatments.
On the other hand my Dad had heartburn, bad burping, an upset stomach, was light headed, and pain in his shoulders and middle of back. It was a heart attack..
Be safe, dont play with your health. What if it was a start of a heart attack and you waited to long.. You may not get a second chance.. Go to E.R. if it is really bad and there is no break in the pain..

sometimes a heart attack can feel like heart burn. I don't think the lightheadness is caused from heart burn, or the fast heart rate.
You should go to see your doctor and get some tests done.
I wouldn't put it off either, just to be on the safe side, people 26 yrs old can still have heart problems.

I sometimes get heartburn and I take a tums and it leaves straight away. However never with the lightheadedness... maybe a fever?? Try talking to your doctor and see what he suggests.

Heartburn means you have heartburn or an ulcer
Lightheadedness, well pain will do that
Heart pumping, just a little irregular tachracardia, won't hurt you

Possibly a low blood sugar episode. Check out the symptoms at www.hufa.org, and see if you have any others.
