It hurts MORE than your earlobe.
It hurts MORE than your eyebrow.
It hurst MORE than your nose.
But, it hurts LESS than your nipple.

I don't really know I've never actually had my belly button pierced.
You are probably wondering why I am responding to your question.
I just wanted to make you aware that from my experience piercing the
belly button with a metal jewell can interfere with your female energy centre.
I am a Massage Therapist and have advised anyone who might
be experiencing problems with fertility or cysts on their ovaries
to remove their piercings.
I also understand that belly piercings can look great and are
fun. Just wanted to share that information with you.

YES!!!!
I have had my done for about 5 years now. I got my tounge done about 3 months before and that was nothing compared to getting my belly pierced - the pain and dsicomfort goes away, but it really makes sitting - even moving - fairly painful for a while

Take your left hand and with two fingers pinch the *&^% out of the bottom half of your belly button, now with your right handle shove a large needle through it. Does that hurt?
But people do it everyday!

i had my done when i was 19 and yes it did hurt but not that bad. you are piercing a part of your body so obviously it isn't going to feel great. it only takes a minute though.
the pain for me was afterwards...sore for awhile.

I got mine done last winter. Yeah, it hurts, but by the time you can react to it, it's over.

I am sure it hurts. But for some it may hurt more then others. (Especially if it gets infected)

GLAD YOUR WAITING UNTIL YOUR GROWN UP. IT CAN TAKE TIME TO HEAL. HURTS LIKE WHEN YOU GET YOUR EARS PIERCED. YOU DO NEED TO BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DON'T GET ANYTHING CAUGHT IN IT, THAT CAN HURT WHEN IT GET PULLED.
