Unless you have been kept in a bubble I'm quite sure u have had a bruise. wich is caused by t5he small capularies being broken and leaking blood below your skin. It will go away on its own the pain is caused by pressure on the nerves and the probability that some of them have been broken or severed. While a cold compress will alleviate the pain it will not make the bruise go away quicker. Heat will open up the area and allow the dead blood to be eaten up and removed from the area.

you probably know how you get a bruise. some females can get bad ones right before their periods though. i dont know why this occurs but sometimes it does. so take a deep breath you will be fine. if you notice more bruises that occur without any reason, consult your doctor. some medicines make you bleed easier causing more bruises. hope that helps.

Calm down You probably bumped into something. It's okay! The darkness is bruised blood under your skin. It will go away on it's own. Massage it after a day or two.

Don't worry about it...like someone said, you probably bumped into something that's why you feel so much pain. Put ice over it for a couple of minutes and see if it helps...it should anyway. If it doesn't, ask a doctor
