Recently I found out I have herpes. I believe I've had it for at least a year because over the past year my boyfriend sometimes gets soars on his genitals after intercourse, not blisters or anything, but definite red soars (we always thought this was due to bacteria infections I've had in the past.. never assumed it was herpes) I've had tiny "cuts" before but never payed noticed, but right now I do have some and they seem more painful than ever. After my partner & I tried to have sex this morning for the first time in weeks and we were both in a lot of pain Also I just noticed that my discharge is bloody-brown and also brown blood on my underwear....
IS THIS ALL BECAUSE OF HERPES, OR SOMETHING MORE? WHY DOES IT SEEM TO BE SO INTENSE RIGHT NOW BUT NEVER HAS BEEN BEFORE?

i just started dating this wonderful young woman named julie and two days ago i went to the doctor with her and i just found out that she had it. she told me that she must've gotten it from her last partner, because we haven't got to that point in the relationship yet, but i still love her, and i'll be with her no matter what.

she acted like it was not a disease, she said what it was but I have forgotten. I am trying to find out more about it. All I remember is that she said that her GYN said the effects usually comepletly clear within about 5 years. She said the effects dissapated for a while and she was excited but then they came back even after the GYN said it looked to be gone from her system. She also said she somewhat blamed it on her past partner. Any help on what her condition could have been. It wasn't the commonly mentioned Herpes, Chlamydia, Syphilis, Gonorrhea.

I was just diagnosed with genital warts.. My wife, and partner of 4 years, has never had them or even shown symptoms. The only other partner I had was over 5 years ago, and my symptoms did not appear until about 1 year ago. Is it possible that my wife carries the virus and transmitted it to me, even though she's never had any visible symptoms of her own?

Since I was 16 (20) i have had some crazy health problmes. One of which is that when my blood is tested for HIV i test false positive every time. There are three stages of an HIV test- Eliza and the wester blot. The Eliza is run and tested twice.. I test positive every time on the Eliza but Negative on the Confirmatory. My doctor says its a rare condition....

I guess?

But lately I have noticed whenever I get sick, i get very very sick and it takes me FOREVER to get better. i am starting to think there is a link to all my strange health problems... help?

Me and my girl have been together for five years. She just found out she has herpes from an outbreak with all the signs, swollen glands and sores and feeling ill. And then another outbreak about two weeks later. From everything I've been reading those mostly happen after you've just become infected 4 to 6 weeks after you have goten it.
Is this correct ?
Can you first outbreak happen after years of having it?
Can you have signs like this after many years or should I suspect she's been fooling around on me ?
I've read people can have it and not know, if so, do outbreaks get worse all of a sudden.
ANY help would be wonderfull I've been to many of the sites reading my butt off and it's a lot to handel
My doctors appt. is next week, if the tests can come back with false negitives when no signs are presant,, might everybody have it and not just know it..
I've never even had a cold sore or fever blister
Can hsv 1 be gotton from shareing drink, I have an eight year old son ??

I don't know if this makes any sense......

I was reading information on HPV and now I'm extremley nervous thinking "what If" either me or my boyfriend have it. Even though I have no reason to be thinking that. (Even though I know there are NO symptoms). What are some reasons why/how people get HPV (males & females). I can go for a Pap to my doctor but my boyfriend doesn't have insurance! What can he do? I'm 18 and he's 19.

I've used to use Vaginal Deodorants every night before I go to sleep and even before sex and then I started to douche with it too. I must have over douche and that gave me a (UTI) infection. After I drink tons of Organic Cranberry Juice it got healed but then I notice a STRONG FISHY unusual discharge. Being afraid, I did tons of research and I think I have Bacterial Vaginosis.

Yes, I am sexually active but I've only been with my boyfriend ever since. He does not have any sign of infection.

I am so scared that I might have gotten the disease (STD). My boyfriend might be thinking that I might have cheated on him.

I'm all out of hope and scared. I hope it's not symptoms of HIVS or AIDS.

i have always been curious about this. but was wondering that what happens to the child if the parents are HIV positive (i say both because if you have sex, then you are more likely than not to contract it). i heard something abotu drugs which would stop the virus passing onto the embryo. is this true? are HIV positive parents doomed to remain childless in fear of inflicting their children with such a disease?

I have the worst smelling discharge I've ever had. I've never usually been smelly... at all! So this is freaking me out a bit. It doesn't smelly fishy at all.. it smells like sour milk, or (this is really disgusting but..) almost like someone threw-up. It smells soo bad. It came out looking almost greyish or green even but when I wiped it, it was dark yellow. I'm going to the health clinic tomorrow, but I just wanted to know if anyone knows the answer to any of this? I'm scared its Trichamoniasis.. but it could also be B.V. I just got off the nuva ring also because I was getting too many yeast infections but this is the first week I'm off of it and I'm getting this horrible smell.

I was drinking with a friend at his house and i was buzzed my friend introduced me to his friend so i gave him a hand shake. The guy was really skinny and later my friend told me that the guy has HIV. My question is that can u get HIV with a handshake and then going to the restroom and touching your genitals to go pee without washing your hands or touching your face. You know when your buzzed you don't even wash your hands. Later on, i was so worried about that.
