Ideally, Gardasil should be administered BEFORE the person becomes sexually active. You aren't fully protected until you have had the entire course of the vaccine, and if you are concurrently sexually active while receiving it, you can still get the infections!

Therefore, if you can wait the whole 6 months, that'd be great. In fact, you may want to add 2 weeks after the last shot to make sure that your immune system has had time to properly respond to the vaccine in your body. If you absolutely cannot stand to wait that long (I won't judge you if you can't wait, but consider yourself informed of risks!), then don't forget to use a condom and cross your fingers.

btw, you should ALWAYS be using condoms anyway.

As for the injections, they are usually given in the arm.

The HPV Vaccine right? I presume that you'd be OK as long as your using a condom. Give the clinic/Dr a ring to put your mind at ease. I've had a look at the info on the web and nothing there says that you have to abstain from intercourse until the course of injections are finished.
