i just want to know whether tis is a fact or a myth about shingles being an HIV related disease.I have heard people say this but am not really sure,help me understand.

Im just wondering, its been something i never really knew the answer to. But how long after intercourse/kissing, does it take for herpes (both oral or genital) to start showing up? Can any std start to show the same day the intercourse took place?

my sister meet this man and knew really nothing about him . she.s married . she meet this man and she had sex with him . not knowing nothing about him she calld me one day to come over and i did . she had a green and yellow in her painties . and i know a .dr. who gave me this medication . called.flagel.500.m.g. to be used .3. times a day he gave me a week.s treatrement of it she had to have more than that she used this same medication fo.2. months the same .dr. gave me this again what could cause her to have to use this that long where it was still green . she told her husband she had a bad yeast infection . i am a woman and know you dont need it that leanght of time she wont go to a .dr. herself and never had sex with her husband . she told him her.dr. told her this she didnt even go to a .dr. what can cause this that linght of time

I heard that if you get HIV or STD and get treated quickly, then the chances of curing would become much better, and if they can't fully cure it then they would do something to you that the disease would stay in your body, but you wont pass it to anyone else, so can anybody tell me if that's true? if so about how long would getting treated quickly be? I heard after everytime you get tested, you have to wait 6 months to get tested again or for them to find out there is any infection, so would that be too long for anybody to get treated "quickly"?

while having intercourse with my girlfriend she must of ripped and there was blood, we didnt notice till afterwards, and we didnt use a condom as she is on the pill. neither of us have an s.t.d. but i am concerned that this may cause the start of hiv as i have heard that blood mixing is the cause of it even if neither of us have got an std. please help as i am very concerned, only sensible answers please.

I had a cold sore about a week ago, now im not sure but I'm starting to get the signs of genital herpes. I'm going to go get tested soon but I am curious if you have a cold sore and you touch it and accidentally touch your genitals if you can get genital herpes that way.

I have a few small flat colliflower like sores on the inside of my vagina and 2 on the outside of my vagina at the bottom. they dont hurt and they dont puss. when i pee it burns and the sores at the bottom of my vagina only bother me when i wipe myself with tissue because the tissue hits them the ones on the inside dont bother me at all. what could the sores be and why did i get them? i went to the doctor an he said i had a bad uti and gave me some pills to take called cipro 500mg. what is cipro and wat does it cure exactly? could they heal up the sores? i have to take them for 10 days could the uti be the reason i got those sores? someone please help! ! ! !

I just find it really nasty if a guy isn't circumcised and i wont have sex if he isn't. I know not everyone is and i can't just ask someone to get circumcised but its dirty no matter how much they wash it, am i going to run into trouble with my sex life by keeping this standard?

this is weird... i kissed a girl in her mouth and boobs last month... we never did anything down there, neither unbutton our jeans.... yesterday she told me that she had visited the doc because she had warts in her genitals, she has HPV, and that's new for her. Last month she didn't have any warts, and we just kissed without any touching down in her genitals... My questions are: is it possible that i'm infected with just kissing her mouth and boobs a month ago? is it a rule that if you have warts down there you must have HPV in your mouth?

Why is that I read lots of other peoples responses and they say things like, "You can't catch AIDS this way.." or "You get AIDS from unprotected sex..."? It really bothers me to see how many people are uniformed. You DON'T get AIDS from someone else, you get HIV. Only blood tests can tell if someone has AIDS- cd4 cells fall below 200 and then a person is medically diagnosed with AIDS. i have recently been put on the depo shot. i had sex with my boyfriend as usual and the next day i noticed these small flat colliflower looking sores (i guess thats what u would call them) on the inside of my vagina which are not puss filled nor have they ever been, i know with herpes you feel some type of discomfort only discomfort i feel is a light burning wen i pee an when i wipe myself it burns i guess because the tissue is hitting the spots. anyway i went to the doctor an she said it might be herpes but i dont think it is. if its not herpes what could it be? please someone help me!?!?!?!
