I heard that if you get HIV or STD and get treated quickly, then the chances of curing would become much better, and if they can't fully cure it then they would do something to you that the disease would stay in your body, but you wont pass it to anyone else, so can anybody tell me if that's true? if so about how long would getting treated quickly be? I heard after everytime you get tested, you have to wait 6 months to get tested again or for them to find out there is any infection, so would that be too long for anybody to get treated "quickly"?

Now that you mention it, is it true that its a little harder to get HIVs than STDs, like it would be kinda rare to get HIVs but the opesite would go for STDs, that there is a very strong chance of getting it.
The reason I am asking so many questions is that they had an argument about that at work today, and a lot of people said different things, so I came her to see what the majority of the answers would be.
