My BF have warts on his penis so it turned out to be HPV ... i went to my gyno ... for pap test she said i have nothing... and i did blood test and pcr... all where negative?? does it mean i didn't catch the virus ,,am really scared tell me what to do .. i didn't get any warts or something .... do i have to check my anal 2 ??

Well about 3 (July) months ago my boyfriend and I went on vacation and had sex... well to his day we havent had sex.. i always ask him and he says no..
Well about an hour ago he told me that he had warts....he was almost crying he was so embarrased.
I have no idea where he got them???? He said I gave them to him but i didnt even know i had them???
I had a pap in Jan and also in September and they came back great. So, I have no idea where he would of gotten them, he hasnt been with anyone except me, could i of gotten them from someone who I was with before him like 2 years ago...
I need some help please.

so when we were together and had intercourse, he had to go to the doctor for a bump on his pubic area...and while we were together he had said that it was because of me but then said just joking. well he called me just now and said that he lied to me, that it is because of me, because the last time we had intercourse it came back.

but the thing is, we had intercourse often..very often!...and he only got the bump twice....

now i go to the doctor very often. i get blood tests and urine tests, just for a regualr check up...so if i had something wouldnt they have found it already from the blood and urine tests????

I'm doing some research on intentionally inflicting/ or desiring to become infected with HIV. I found an estimate that 25% of new HIV cases among gay men were INTENTIONALLY contracted! I was shocked! Do you think the intentional tranmission of a disease should be criminalized? (It is in about 25 states.) What should our public policy be regarding health care for these individuals?

I have been newly diagnosed with HPV 16 (high risk). I got the pap done, and it was normal, but after reading all these other questions and answers and although the pap was normal, im thinking my cervix has cancer already but the doctors dont want to deal with me so they told me my pap was normal. Can you have a normal pap and still have active HPV. When will I die of cancer? I can't live with myself, and worst of all, i gave my boyfriend oral sex, and im scared to death now iv exposed myself to oral cancer!!! Should I just end my life? I want to stop suffering!

Think about it if sneezing from a cold you get sick so would it be the same? Just curious...I know not every one you see is infected with HIV/STD. I was curious to see if this would be true if this virus/bacteria can affect you. Its kinda like bodily fluid, right? Help me with this weird question....

STD experts, please help! My cousin called me last night in tears. She's had herpes on her lip for years, but had a bad outbreak where they spread to the base of her nose. She made appt with her doctor but was seen by the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner absolutely terrorized her by telling her if she gets herpes inside her nostrils they spread straight to her brain, she will get brain damage, "go crazy" and die. She also told her if she touches the open sore and then inside her ear, same thing the herpes will go straight to her brain. I know if you touch an open sore and then your eye it can cause blindness. I've never heard about herpes of the brain. I don't know if she was telling her all this to scare her into being more meticulous with cleansing? I told her to make another appt to talk to her doctor, not the nurse practitioner, which she will do Monday. Any truth/info on herpes of the brain?

There are like 5 lil bumps on my lip. there in a group. its juss on the right corner. they come up evry once in a while in the same place. they dont spread or nothing. i also get heat rashes on my neck, is the one on my lip a heat rash. doesnt make sense coz is cold rite now. ne suggestions? im sexually active n the bumps dont appear newhere else. wat could this be?

for like a week i had red and itchy labia, no bumps or anything, then it went away immediately when i got my period.. well when it stopped i realised i had what looks like a diaper rash or something between my vagina and anus. its definately not a herpes rash, its big and with hundreds of tiny bumps, not in clusters. very dry skin. can this be a yeast infection?

My wife got trichomonas vaginalis, and I read that this is a sexually transmited disease (STD), but neither my wife or me have been unfaithful. So I'd like to know if there's another alternative transmission method rather than sexual for this disease.

I started developing what looked like skin tags on my genital region, I asked a doctor about them and she said i could remove them by tiing a string around them. So I did. 3 months later I was diagnosed with having genital warts. I had them treated and now I have no warts. Will I give all my partners HPV if I have sex now? Is the string method just as good as any other method or do I have to kill the skin around the wart to?

that you can still get it if you dont have one RIGHT? she now told her boyfriend and hes really mad at her he thinks he doesnt have it but i am sure he has it too cus they had unprotected sex soo many times and he also performed oral sex to her!!!! how can i let her know that you can also give herpes when your not having an outbreak
