Abreva does crap for and it takes like 2 weeks to go away. I tried this stuff I found at Wal-Greens two years ago and it works great for me- cold sores dries up in 1/2 days and then scabs over and falls off by day 4/5. Not the usual 7 to 10 days etc. Campho-phenique Maximum Strength Pain Reliever & Antiseptic Gel, Original Gel Formula
Thats for when it's new. And the other one for after it's all dry is called :Campho-phenique Medicated Cold Sore Treatment for Scab Relief, Soothing Mint. I swear it works better than anything I have used (for me at least) and I have been getting cold sores since I was in kindergarten. Good luck!

circulate on your drug save and get some thing spoke of as Spirits Of Camphor, that's fairly low priced and then prepare it on your lips each and each a million/2 hour or as much as you could. For the destiny in case you get chilly sores alot then you extremely could desire to construct up your arsenal, purchase some thing spoke of as Repcillin, and use it with the Spirits Of Camphor, once you experience the tingle, prepare Spirits Of Camphor then quarter-hour later placed on the Repcillin, repeat this until eventually it is going away. I even have had chilly sores that each and all and sundry I felt became into the tingle and then use my combination and the sore in no way got here up, i think of i could desire to place a patent in this scientific care, thats how good that's.

abreva works best, wake up at night to put it on, make sure your lips don't dry out, use green tea and garlic right on the sore and eat and drink things hign in those ingrediants.
