i know i do, im not proud that i have it but after i came to terms with it i realized its my responsibility to help others to try to keep from getting this type of sexual restriction placed on them too. everyone with a conscious should tell anyone that they are going to get that personal with.

If I had an STD, I would wait tell I new I loved that person and he loved me back. I would want to make sure that it would be a commitment where would we get married before ever considering to have sex with someone who doesn't have an STD. Why spread the disease when surely if you took some more time you could find someone to love you no matter what is wrong with you. But, I would hold off on telling them, and also be abstinent. (This is written for an incurable disease such as Herpes.)

Well why would anyone be so inconsiderate and have a relationship and put the person they supposibly care about in danger of also being infected with the STD? Before getting cured they shouldnt even consider being with someone. Its not fair.

You absolutely MUST tell your potential partner. Yes, they may choose to not date you, but why prolong the inevitable?
If you don't tell them, and you date them and later transmit the STD to your partner, they certainly will know then, and will be so angry it isn't funny.
Now, *when* you tell them is up to you, but it must be before any kind of sexual contact at all.
Even if it isn't genital to genital or oral to genital, you must tell them before the contact occurs.

Uh, yeah you should tell them. If you really cared about someone enough to want to date them, you wouldn't infect them with something that they were unaware about.

It is something imporant and should NEVER be taken lightly.

It's the ethical thing to do. Not telling them is putting their health at risk.

It's your responsibility to inform your partner BEFORE you engage in sexual relations
