Most Doctors these days are in a practise with nursing staff etc., so yes they can.

Yes he can, the practice nurse can swab you and send it off.

tell him/her what ya need to check for and they send swab/blood/urine to lab...can be expensive......is there a std clinic in your town,maybe cheaper..good luck....
