Seizures caused by fever?
My son is 21 months old and had a fibral seizure which the nurses attribute to a spike in fever. How common are these seizures and what is the likelihood that this will be a continuing problem instead of a one time occurence?

I've been suffering from weird abdominal painsfor over 2 years now. The hospital have been toying with the idea of visceral hyperalgesia, and now they're saying I *could* have an on/off appendicitis. That's if it exists. So do you guys believe in them or do you think it's either one or the other? Also, could anyone please remind me of the medical term for this?
Thanks.

My husband suffers from a Pineal Cyst. He has the same symptoms as many other people who search for answers, but not helped by doctors or the drugs they prescribe. Does anyone have any suggestions to help ease his pain and symptoms. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I finished a 10-day course (1 pill, 4 times a day) of 300mg Penicillin V five days ago, and my digestive system still seems screwed up. Is this normal? If so, how long might my system be screwed up for? I normally don't have adverse reactions to antibiotics, but I just don't feel right yet.

I have seen a doctor about this, and he says there is nothing unusual (everything feels fine, and urinalysis came back clean).

Im having frequent headaches, dizzyness, nausea, muscle aches and what makes it worst is that i feel endless intense pressure in my head all the time. Now if i start moving n sit down suddenly, it feels like something heavy is pressing down in my head. I went to the doctor previously and he diagnosed me with migraine. But the medicine he gave me was useless. Though it reduces e headaches but the intense pressure was still there. What should i do? Am i really having a brain tumour?

I was just diagnosed with Nerocardiogenic Syncope after failing the tilt table test because i passed out minutes after taking the nitroglicerin tab and now that i know whats wrong its scary to know that people with this diagnosis should not drive and refrain from anything that has to do with heights. So far i have only felt lightheaded and to the point of passing out but not quite (only during the tilt test). Is this something that can get worse? Does anyone have this condition and how do you manage?

Whenever I get symptoms (irritability, headaches, dizziness...) I always crave sugar, and I know logically that I'm supposed to eat other things instead (carbs with fat and protein at once) but I have trouble thinking of tiny snacks that involve all those things and are quick to make.

I'm trying to eat small things often, which is helpful, but it's usually a matter of grabbing an apple, or an oatmeal bar, and these things don't combine the three types of food. Good for dieting, bad for hypoglycemia.

Dieting would be so much easier if avoiding food didn't make me grouchy and sick...

(Oh yeah, FYI, I'm 24 pounds above my "healthy weight", according to the body mass index charts. So the dieting isn't crazy. ;)

I am tired of this stupid cough (a result of a cold I'm still battling), but I can only stand so many cough drops, and cough medicine usually never works for me. I'd like to see what foods are best to eat that don't exacerbate the cough, and what I should avoid. Thanks!

below my skin are being irritated. And every once in awhile (rarely), it feels like an electric current is going through my abdomen. The tingling last for about three weeks, then goes away, only to return a few weeks later. Any ideas of what is going on and what I can do (besides the obvious-go to doctor).
