My dog's face has been swollen off and on for about a month now. I went to the vet but she couldnt find anything wrong with him , she gave him antibiotics but his swelling returned a few days after. The dog has swelling on both sides of his face and around his neck but its off and on, sometimes you can't see it at all. He seems to have no pain or need to itch because of it and acts as if there is nothing wrong. Has anyone experienced this problem with their pets or have any knowledge of such a situation? Please help as soon as possible....Thank YOu

I tend to spill protein due to nephron damage from recurring stones and kidney infections. Haven't had a problem in 8 months or so, now after I work out I notice a large amount of protein in my urine for 2 or 3 days after I work out. I know it's normal to spill a little protein after a tough workout but this lasts for several days. Am I being too tough on damaged kidneys? Is this worth a trip to my nephrologist?

This happens almost every night now. I woke up once or twice finding myself gasping for air. The most scary part comes after that. My heart beats so fast and I feel like it seems my soul is being pulled out forcefully. I feel like I'm dying. But this happens pretty quick less than 2 mins. Then after that I can sleep normal.

Right now I think I'm overweight. I don't do exercise. It's been years, my last work out was probably a few years ago. I started my diet last week, but since last weekend was my bday, my diet plan has been nothing but a total mess.
Here's a bit about me:
M, 5'10, 183 lbs.

Do you guys have any idea whats going on?

Hey guys, I have been getting kinda sick lately, but it's not normal sick. It seems like every time I drink a coke or eat something sweet, my body later "crashes". It's usually several hours afterwards, but it can vary. I usually began having increased heartbeat, a little heavy breathing, and then my mind begins changing. Sometimes I'll just begin to think things that I have no control over, like math problems or random thoughts. This usually begins a sweating and I worry that I may die. It should be said, however, that I do have OCD and hypoglycemia and diabetes do run in my family. Is all this part of hypoglycemia or perhaps part of a panic attack. Anyways, I'd really like to get to the bottom of this and maybe figure out what I need to do to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

God bless!

I had emergency surgery awhile back and they came three different times to take my blood , so that they could have blood on backup just incase I lost too much during the surgery. They were unable to have any on backup because they said that I had a rare antibody in my blood.

I went about a week ago to get my hospital records and all it says is that the antibody is ANTI-M. What does that mean?

I’m 39 Caucasian. In my last 10 years I noticed my frontal forehead bones evolved to be bigger.
I have now much more prominent brow ridges. It is noticeable. This gives me a chimp profile which I didn’t have 10 years ago. Could be this a disease? What kind of doctor should I look for?

People make fun of me all the time because I often shake, whether I am eating or trying to perform an experiment in lab, my hands shake and it's bad enough that people notice. I have been like this my whole life, when i was little my hands shook so bad I couldn't zip my own zipper, it's not that bad anymore though. I am just wondering if there may be something actually wrong with me, my mom doesn't seem to think so.

A 79 year-old friend of mine recently fell and broke her hip.
She had three times the legal blood-alcohol limit at the time
and was known to drink regularly.
After surgery to fix the broken hip, she went into DTs. The
physical shakes and tremors lasted about three days and
she was treated with Adivan and Trazadone. She was moved
to the physical therapy unit.
The problem is she can seem very clear-headed but every
now and then she thinks she's at home instead of at the
hospital. Or she might say that someone was looking in the
window last night or making a lot of noise in the backyard.
The nurses say it could be the drugs and pain medicine that
are making her confused. Adivan was stopped two days ago
but she still gets Trazedone at night and possibly Percocet
as needed for pain.
Before all this you could tell if she had been drinking but she
never was confused about where she was or thought someone
was at the window, etc.
It has been 2 weeks since surgery.
