Hi mg stands for miligrams
PO stands for by mouth
QHS stands for at hour of sleep
so if it says 1 500 mg PO qhs
it just means 1 tablet by mouth at the time you go to bed so take it just before you go to bed
I am a medical assitant and if you need more help with med bottles or whatever that the doctor uses shorthand for let me know anyone who works in a docotrs office or pharmacy can also tell you what it means okay bye

PO = "by mouth"
qhs = "every hour of sleep" (take at bedtime everyday)
tid = three times per day
mg = the number in front means how many milligrams you are taking.
Not sure what "pc" means.
So, in your example above, you are taking 500 milligrams of something by mouth everyday at bedtime. Hope this helps!
