I dont have any pain when i pass urine. Should i be worried ? Is there something that i can do to get rid of this uneasiness? Appreciate your answers!

This could be caused by a few things:

1. Concentrated urine - try increasing your water intake and minimizing your caffeine consumption

2. Ketones - caused by a high protein diet. If you are not on a diet of this type this could be a sign of kidney infections or damage to the kidney themselves (read on)

3. Mixing of the urine with prostatic fluid which could be due to an inflammation of the prostate.

4. Mixing of the urine with seminal fluid - this would be observable in the first urination after sexual stimulation and ejaculation.

5. Symptoms of a urinary infection. If you start noticing a burning sensation when you urinate you will need to increase your water intake and make sure to take 500 mg of Vitamin C twice to three times a day until you see a MD.

If you think it may be ketones or prostatic fluid and you are NOT restricting your carbs you should follow up with a MD. A urinary tract infection should be checked as soon as possible or you can damage the kidneys.

Were they like tiny flakes? I had to collect urine for a medical study once, and noticed small flakes floating around. The Doctor explained that they were flakes of tissue that come off (from the bladder lining, i believe) and that it was normal. Though it is normal, in excess it can also be an indication of kidney infection/problems.

Get to the doctor and they will check your urine. Could be nothing, could be a kidney/bladder issue. A few months this has been going on and NOW you're wondering? Jeez! Once at the doctor, they give you a cup and you pee in it while you're in a private restroom. No big deal.

Are you doing any drugs of any kind, even dr, prescribed? Some will do this. If not I would have your Dr. check it out just so you know you're no developing kidney stones. Small chance, but get it checked anyway.

Go get a urine analysis ASAP. Could be bladder cancer.
Do you smoke? If so be worried.
