My husband suffers from a Pineal Cyst. He has the same symptoms as many other people who search for answers, but not helped by doctors or the drugs they prescribe. Does anyone have any suggestions to help ease his pain and symptoms. Thanks for any help you can provide.

It is called a pilonidal cyst for future reference......I had an abnormally big and infected pilonidal cyst and I had to go to the emergency room because it was so painful.....they lanced and drained it and gave my pain medication and antibiotics to get rid of the infection (although the pain meds did not take away all the pain and discomfort). I had to wait a few weeks to make sure the infection was completely gone and then I got the cyst excised (completely remeoved). There is a 90 percent reoccurence rate if you do not get it removed. The surgery is not painful and I have been cyst and pain free since may 2005. Just make sure you do your research and get a good surgeon. If you and your husband decide against surgery I reccomend buying him a tailbone cushon for sitting, and keep the tailbone area clean and free of hair.
