Im having frequent headaches, dizzyness, nausea, muscle aches and what makes it worst is that i feel endless intense pressure in my head all the time. Now if i start moving n sit down suddenly, it feels like something heavy is pressing down in my head. I went to the doctor previously and he diagnosed me with migraine. But the medicine he gave me was useless. Though it reduces e headaches but the intense pressure was still there. What should i do? Am i really having a brain tumour?

It sounds like you may have a couple of things. It maybe severe migraines or a bad case of the flu. But, to me, it sounds like West Nile virus. You should go to your doctor and ask to be tested for the virus. It can be done with a simple blood test. You should have a MRI done or a CT scan done to rule out any tumors or cysts. Also ask them to check for meningitis. It shows the same symptoms also. Go to your doctor right away. If they are not available, go to the nearest ER. This is something that shouldn't wait.

I doubt that you have a brain tumor, but it is now that you need to be evaluated and tested. Migraine and sinus headaches are so very similar, but the treatment is very different. Wondering if you have any allergy symptoms which cause terrible sinus headaches which make your head feel this way too. If so try taking and over the counter product and/or go find a Doctor who will evaluate you. If you are having migraines, then you need to consult either a psychiatrist or neurologist. There are several good prescription medications that work. Of course not every one works the same for everyone. Migraine headaches almost always appear when you wake up in the morning and can last for hours, days or weeks. They are caused by the blood vessels in the brain changing sizes during sleep. They constrict and dilate. There is medication to prevent this as well. Several things you did not mention when referring to your headaches. Migraine sufferers have many symptoms such as sensitivity to light and sound.
Your overall problems don't indicate migraines. I suggest you get professional evaluation and don't delay. It is possible that something else could be happening. A good Doctor will order a CAT scan and do other evaluations. Good luck and God Bless.

There is a condition called pseudo-tumor cerebri which means false brain tumor. It is more commonly called IH Intracranial Hypertension.

It is diagnosed by having a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) and the cerebral spinal fluid pressure is measured. The condition is when a person has higher than normal cerebral spinal fluid, the fluid which surrounds the brain and spinal cord.

This condition was called pseudo tumor cerebri because it presents like a brain tumor but it's not. It can affect your vision and even go so far as cause blindness. It affects the fluid pressure of the eye.

You are probably scared right about now. I don't mean to scare you. I just thought some of your symptoms sound like IH symptoms. I have it and take a medication which prevents my body from making as much cerebral spinal fluid pressure.

If your doctor is a neurologist, ask if he will do a lumbar puncture (LP) to check the pressure. If your doctor is a general practitioner, ask for a referral to a neurologist.

An LP is not as bad as it sounds. I have had 3 in the past 10 months. They numb you on the outside and the needle just causes discomfort not real pain.

All of this is up to you. I just have a hunch about your symptoms. I am not a medical person so don't substitute my opinion for a professional one.

Your Symptoms are such that you should go to the ER IMMEDIATELY if these are happening as you say! These are symptoms of a Aneurysm, Stroke, or other serious Inter Cranial condition.

This is nothing to mess with, and is the Brain Equivelent of a Heart Attack if someone was having Chest Pains, Sweating, Pain in one or both arms, Pain Radiating to the Jaw and Neck, and Nausea.

You need to either call 9-1-1 or have someone drive you in IMMEDIATELY! Do NOT Drive Yourself!

They can at least run a battery of tests on you and rule out something that is potentially Life Threatening. It's better to be safe than sorry. You might only have 1 Chance to seek help if you are having a serious onset of any of a number of Brain Related conditions given the symptoms you shared.

Get away from the CPU and get to your nearest ER, and be seen. I am not giving Medical Advice, but, sharing Universal AMA Protocol instructions as to what one should do if having such symptoms of the nature you shared.

You should really cut MSG out of your diet. It's basically in everything processed, but gives a lot of people serious migraines. I used to get migraines everyday, was tested for tumors amongst other things. Doctors will just give you heavy medicine to treat the headaches, not cure them. You would also be wise to eliminate artifical sweeteners as well.

Don't want to scare the crap out of you, but my nephew had the same problem. Went to several doctors with no end result. Ended up going to an eye doctor, he told him to get to the hospital right away, found a tumor (non cancerous). It was hard to see found it on his brain stem.
It wouldn't hurt to get a second oppion and don't stop complaining until you get some answers. Tell them to do a CT or MRI. Good Luck

You do not have a Brain tumor because it does not cause muscle pains. Brain tumors have a progressive headache and it is continous and worse if you sleep. You may have muscle contraction headaches with intermittent episodes of muscle tension. This is a daily headache and may be associated with sleep difficulties. You need an image of your brain to reasssure you
