My eye and random parts of my body start twiching and lasts that way for days.It does so mildly but annoying enough to be focusing on it all the time.Sometimes it is bad enough to get a headache or something, i just want to know the medical reason for why it happens and if there is anyway i can get rid of it when it starts.

"Blepharospasm (Defined as Eye Twitching)
Blepharospasm is the technical term for involuntary eye twitching (eye spasms). Blepharospasm is more specifically defined as an abnormal involuntary blinking or spasm of the eyelids. Eye twitching usually involves involuntary movements of the eyelid specifically. Some refer to this condition as eye spasms. Some doctors often refer to this condition when chronically present as "blinking disorder." Sounds pretty serious. But it may not be. "

It is believed that muscle spasms in the eyelid causes eye twitches. Because of this, it is believed that it is related to the nervous system. Most think that these muscle twitches can be related to emotional stress or physical eye strain. For example, staring at the computer all day can cause it to twitch. This type of eye twitch is not considered serious and is usually transitory.Technically speaking, eye twitching is called blepharospasm. It can even have triggers like smoking or bright light.

It happens because your eyes have been open for a LONG time!!! or you are very nervous about something. You can stop it by either getting some sleep or destressing. Otherwise, there's not much you can do. It's not a serious condition, like the hiccups, just really really annoying.

twitching of the eye is when your eyelid is pulsating. It happens because you are either extremely angry or nervous about something and it will stop on its own. If it annoys you rub your eyelid and it should stop for a short period of time
