My husband thinks he's coming down with a flu which would mean our son is already exposed. Should I forget about giving him the flu shot? His doctor kept pushing it lst week and I had turned it down. Any advice?? How long does it take for the flu shot to take effect?

For the last week I keep getting these very short dizzy spells. They last for one to two seconds before I return back to normal. While they're not back to back they're getting pretty frequent. I eat well, sleep fine, nothing drastic has changed in my lifestyle, so why am I getting these spells?

I have been having problems due to a medication I used to take and I need to find out if anyone else has filed a law suit for that medicine yet. Also wondering, a good website to explain malady's and their symptom's. Thank you.

Several years ago I began having trouble gripping my pen as I wrote. I then starting writing with my pen or pencil between my index and middle fingers and that worked for years. A few weeks ago even that doesn't seem to work too well. I can write for a few minutes and then the index finger just doesn't want to work. This is only a problem when I write and sometimes when I am typing. Sometimes the finger just wants to point! I have no pain or swelling, and never have. I have tried to find answers on the Internet but haven't been succesful. Any answers would be appreciated.

I have been anaemic for several months now. My GP is only giving me iron supplements which don't seem to help at all. I feel dizzy and tired most of the time, I get pale and sweaty whenever I make the slightest effort and throw up when I'm training or playing sports.
I am a very active fit person and I eat the healthiest diet I can think of
Any suggestions? I have increased the amount of greens, nuts, liver and everything else apart from Guiness.

Hey! I had posted about nerve pain. My nerve pain isn't from an injury or a post-operation damage. It all happen out of nowhere. It started with a severe headache (worse than migraine) that last it for over 18 mos. This headache was 24/7. Then my left side went completely numb. One day, at my office I colapse and fell face first to the floor. Funny to say I worked at a hospital, I was rush to ER and stood for a week at the hospital, they didn't found why it all happen.

Since then I have been suffering from this extreme nerve pain. They found lessons in my brain. I am under the care of a neurologist. It sad cause I am a young person under 40. I am going through a lot with this problem!

I've had treatments for depression for about 3 years now. None of the depression treatments such as medication and ECT helped.

I recently suspected sleep apnea and went for an overnight sleep study. They confirmed that I was experiencing sleep apnea, and I had a partial night's rest using the CPAP machine at the testing location, but it wasn't a full night's rest using it.

The test was last weekend, and they said it would be 7-10 days for a doctor to analyze the data and get back to me. I won't know how severe my sleep apnea is until I hear from the doc...

I was wondering if anyone would like to share their sleep apnea problems and solutions, and how well they did (or didn't) work. I'm especially interested in anyone's story involving depression, either due to or made worse by sleep apnea.

I'm not terribly overweight, 6ft 1in and 220 lbs, but the doc said I have a very narrow throat, and my severe allergies and sinus problems play a role.

I appreciate anyone's storys!

For pink eye, some symptoms are itchiness, and when you wake up in the morning your eyes are glued shut. I don't have those symptoms. My eyes are just a pale pink and my vision is blurred. Sometimes I feel like one eye stings but it goes away. Is it still pink eye? They're also a bit dry, too.

I am concerned for my health, as my left hand has gone partially numb, and two of my fingers on the same hand are also going numb.

Do I need to get this checked over by a Doctor, or am I worrying about nothing?

Serious answers only, please. I am genuinely worried sick.
