This could be a manganese (not magnesium) deficiency. Try taking a balanced multivitamin. Good Luck!

I have ringing constantly in my ears everyday. It can be from a few things, like high blood pressure as previously mentioned. Also, it could be from extensive exposure to high volumes of anything that makes loud noise; lawn equipment, car races, car stereos, headphones, and my favorite - rock concerts. I really started to notice mine after going to a few rock concerts in my teens and I also became a drummer around that time. The bad thing is that it can only get worse without proper protection. I have to wear ear protection for any concert I go to or else I may increase the ringing in my ear, which also makes it harder to hear everyday things. If you know you are going to be around something with high volume for just a short period or longer, use ear protection as much as possible, or keep the volume resonable. Modern medical miracles happen often nowadays, but replacing eardrums hasn't exactly been perfected.

When we get up too quickly it can happen, but it can also be a sign of high blood pressure. Check with your doctor to be sure.

Take care.
